Munay-Ki & the Gifts from Q'ero (Inca) Wisdom Keepers

Tending the fire after the first Munay Ki fire ceremony.
One of the beautiful things about the week is how we combined intellectual learning, dialogue, community, practice, sharing, fire ceremonies, despacho ceremonies, and other ritual, or sacred theater, shared by Q'ero Elder, Wisdomkeeper, and Shaman, Don Francisco Chura, who came in from Peru to work with our group. What a blessing - he truly embodies blessing!
There's much I want to share with the community here, and will as Spirit moves me, and as it begins to weave and integrate and re-emerge in writings.
In the meanwhile, though, if you want to know more about these jewels from the Inca -- energy masters that they were -- and about the Q'ero, Inca descendents who have helped to keep the Wisdom until it was time to share it broadly as we 'quickened' in consciousness with 2012 approaching, here are two places to begin:
Munay-Ki, the Munay web site from The Four Winds.
And a really nice overview of the Munay Ki rites and meanings, from the wonderful teacher, Wake Wheeler of Sacred Pathways, who led our recent training and immersion for The Four Winds and with Don Francisco. Wake has worked closely with Don Francisco for the past years.
Both will give you an idea of the Spirit and intent, as well as the deeper possibilities available to us. And if you have questions about it personally, feel free to send me a message!
Until next time,
Love and Joyful Blessings,
Jamie

Jaimie, it sounds like your still basking in it…isn't that a great sensation? Sounds all very exciting and was obviously very profound for you…
Thank you Jamie, being from Mexico I cherish the ancient wisdom traditions of latin america which are coming to the light of the world in this time in history.
Greetings, to both of you! Yes, it was a profound experience to be with Don Francisco and experience this ancient and Universal wisdom as shared through his beautiful Q’ero/Inca tradition and rituals. And the energy transmissions were very powerful and continue to percolate away.
Fernanda, thank you for stopping by! The Wisdomkeepers of Latin America have done such a profound service in keeping the wisdom alive to share as such a great gift to us now. As we all know, it was no easy task to keep the wisdom alive (as is the case for wisdomkeepers everywhere, since the Wisdom wasn’t really safe anywhere for such a long time, and the wisdomkeepers very lives were in danger from the efforts to wipe it out of existence!).
thanks for your work to keep it alive! GRACIAS!
Hi Jamie, just coming in to catch up with you…lots of thoughts in process I see…just as I thought…looking forward to it all and thank you for sharing it.
I just stated this yesterday but yes the wisdom, sacred ceremonies and original teachings in my culture anyway also went underground, this is where it still is and essential for our survival as well. When we can be a part of this and sharing it…truly…truly….blessed we are!
For me…when a teaching is passed down…I am not only honored but feel a great responsibility with it… respect it, maintain it, nourish it and share it…
Thanks again Jamie for sharing…
