Tough-Times Tips for Spirit-Centered Solopreneurs

I just posted an article which arose spontaneously as I heard from several solopreneur friends, on 'tough-times tips for spirit-centered solopreneurs'.
The Mayan Calendar guru, Johan Calleman wrote that this year (the 5th Night in the Mayan Calendar) would be a time when many 'spiritual warriors' felt tested. Whether one believes this or not, I know many people are in the midst of major life transitions that include livelihood as well. I believe this is as much an invitation and opportunity as it is a 'testing'.
Since solopreneurs and small-business owners are the 'juice' of their endeavors, and spirit-centered solopreneurs have particular callings, it's good to stay 'in the practice' and not get bogged down with fear and anxiety.
I share a few intuitively prompted (and experiential) tips in the article, "Tough-Times Tips for Spirit-Centered SoloPreneurs." You'll find it in my Live True, Work Well blog.
Blessings,
Jamie

Great tips, and timely for me. I have been really trying to stick to my calling and let things happen around me and this seems to be working. I am not going to get caught up in the frenzy because that is one of the risks I [most entrepreneurs?] knew going in… there would be risks. But more importantly, my spiritual sensitivity is helping me to decipher what is panic from what is a wave or a trend of some kind.
I do have to keep aware and in touch with people on the ground, my [potential] target customers. There are actually some fresh opportunities which are arising out of the doom and gloom if people will keep in touch… There is always currency floating around. Be ready to flex to be in the right place for it.
Thanks! Blessings to you. sherri
Invaluable tips in Live True, Work Well, thank you! And not just for the SoloPreneurs, but I think for all of us who wish to walk spiritual paths with practical feet. Somedays it feels as if the very ground I walk on is shifting — no no don't mean the California earthquakes; they're easy in comparison to spiritual challenges. :)
My own work actually has been “redesigned” as this institution tries to shove its 127-people size foot into a shoe perhaps half that size. Ouch! Ouch! the worriers go up and down the hallways, while I do just what Jamie suggests and immerse myself in my own vision and purpose.
Jamie hits the nail on the head. These times are invitation and opportunity as much or more than they are a testing. Nope nothing can vanquish Hope and beauty and the innate knowing that all is well. The unsurmountable joy of connecting with friends, going over and dancing and singing with sherri (!!), YES. I'm taking that direction: the opposite direction of anxiety.
Peace and blessings, Jeannie
ahahah I guess I am joyful because my personal vision includes more self empowered individuals who are sustaining themselves through their creative outputs. So the changes which are happening which are illegitimising [is that a word?] big business and 'corporate' as we've known it, are exciting to me.
My 'work' involves helping to prep people to optimise opportunities and sharpen their saws, as it was, to bring the best offering to market by that time.
So I'm smiling, yes! It's cool to see things changing but not fearing them!
Back to the dance now! haha
