The places where words can't reach

There are some places where words can't reach. It's not a matter of knowing enough words, or knowing the right words, but Knowing that there are no words at all.
When someone has, with a gentle touch and a heartful way, reached within me to places long locked and dark and lonely, there are no words.
When my eyes are drawn heavenward on a crisp, clear night to the luminous stars or elegant crescent moon, there are no words.
When a warm, golden ray of afternoon sun lingers on the velvet red of a perfect rose, setting it aglow with the fire of Life, there are no words.
When a long-awaited touch and embrace joins hearts as well as bodies and minds, there are no words.
Such encounters with the Divine, alive with the joy and grace and beauty of it, move me to the place of no words, the holy space and the sacred language of presence and senses, breath and being, through which we become the Universe in the grain of sand.
